Salafisten in Wien angekommen

Read more of this post

Whose sarin?

Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: Read more of this post

Why Western intervention in Syria will leave chaos

Syria’s civil war is not America’s problem. Syria is surrounded by Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and other Arab nations with large standing armies and advanced military equipment. Their cowardice in acting to stop a war on their doorstep should give us pause for thought. Why will they not act, but we must?
Why is American gullibility for war so strong that countries such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Israel can dispense of their moral duties to the American taxpayer? Read more of this post

Worldwide Terror Alert

American embassies across the Middle East will be closed Sunday due to a new terror alert issued by the State Department, which states that “al-Qa’ida and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August.”
Among the embassies that will be closed due to the threat are those in Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Israel. State Department spokesperson Marie Harf told the London Telegraph “It is possible we may have additional days of closing as well.”
On 11 September, 2012, the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was attacked, and four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed. The alert will remain in place until 31 August.

Syria’s war splits nation into 3 distinct regions

BEIRUT — More than two years into Syria’s civil war, the once highly-centralized authoritarian state has effectively split into three distinct parts, each boasting its own flags, security agencies and judicial system.
In each area, religious, ideological and turf power struggles are under way and battle lines tend to ebb and flow, making it impossible to predict exactly what Syria could look like once the combatants lay down their arms. But the longer the bloody conflict drags on, analysts says, the more difficult it will be to piece together a coherent Syrian state from the wreckage. Read more of this post

Kriegsrat in Qatar

Read more of this post

Profile: Moeed Abdul Salam

Moeed Abdul Salam, a little-known American terror propagandist, was killed in Pakistan during the course of a raid on his apartment by Pakistani troops less than two months after Anwar Al-Awlaki and Samir Khan were killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen. Österreich, sicherer Hafen für Terroristen

Experimente statt Sicherheit

Read more of this post

How to Deal with Terrorists ?

The world is largely oblivious to what’s going on in North Africa and the Middle East .
Following the original uprising in Tunisia, lame and blind politicians in the West missed all that happened after it. Carelessly they assumed that the riots and fights in Egypt, Libya, and Syria were of the same kind. Just people asking for more democracy, for more freedom. Not so. Read more of this post

AWOL soldier defiantly shouts ’09 suspect’s name

WACO, Texas (AP) – Coolly defiant, Pfc. Naser Abdo shouted „Nidal Hasan Fort Hood 2009!“ as he was led out of the courtroom Friday, an apparent homage to the suspect in the worst mass shooting ever on a U.S. military installation. He condemned the attack less than a year ago, but is now accused of trying to repeat it.
Investigators say Abdo, who cited his Muslim beliefs in requesting conscientious objector status last year, was found in a motel room three miles from Fort Hood’s main gate with a handgun, an article titled „Make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom“ Read more of this post
